Types of sporadic prion disease.

Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease it is the most common of all the sporadic prion diseases accounting for 85% of all the sporadic prion diseases.

Some early symptoms of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease can be memory loss, vision problems, and behavior changes.

As time goes it can lead to severe dementia, paralysis, coma, or even death.

Sporadic fatal insomnia(SFI)

Sporadic fatal insomnia is a an extemely rare and fast moving prion disease.

Early symptoms can be insomnia, mental confusion, hallucinations, and high blood pressure.

Late on patients enter a hallucinatory stage or vegetative stage which can lead to death.

Variably Protease-Sensitive Prionopathy (VPSPr)

Variably Prrotease-Sensitive Prionopathy is another form of sporadic prion disease. The has been only 37 cases to date.
